I began drawing cartoons when I was a child starting at the age of 6. I always knew I could draw, my dream was to be a Disney animator. Through my teens I picked up on graffiti. I owe my life to graffiti, because it kept me involved with my artistic side. I began tattooing at age 18. Still involved in graffiti, I found a new hobby. While I was beginning my career as a tattoo artist, I received an internship at Orlando’s Disney animation complex. I enjoyed my short stay at Disney, some troubles back home made it short. I then continued my tattooing and began school at the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute for computer animation. Still tattooing I decided that tattooing was for me. I met Fox, who is the man that legalized tattooing in the state of florida in 1971. He accepted me as an apprentice after I hounded him for one month. I worked with fox for about 5 years, and then moved on to spread my wings.
50 Cent came to town on his “Get Rich or Die Trying” tour. There I met Lloyd Banks, and he asked me if I had my tattoo equipment. I tattooed him that night for about six hours. After that, Young Buck called me and asked if I could tattoo him. 50 Cent saw the work and then flew me to las vegas. There we spoke about my art, told me he appreciated it and took me on 3 domestic tours, which included 50 cities each; and one European tour where I had the opportunity to see all of Europe. When I returned home I opened Mob Ink Tattoos. I kept my relationship with G-Unit and my career began to snowball. Tattooing Allen Iverson, Jeremy Shockey, Carmelo Anthony, Stephen Jackson, Pac Man Jones, Udonis Haslem, Lil Scrappy, Busta Rhymes, Young Joc, Lil Wayne, Birdman, Fabolous, T-Payne, Mob Deep, Spider-Loc, The Game & Jeff Monson just to name a few.
I have been tattooing since 1998, I am now stronger and more artistic than ever. As my career continues I will keep you updated and more than likely you will enjoy following my career. I also had the opportunity in 2006 to attend the U S A Olympic basketball teams training camp. it was in Jacksonville Florida. I visited with the team for a week before they left to Athens,Greece. I also recall a year where during the N BA playoffs there was atleast one player on each playoff team with a tattoo that i had created and tattooed! During that same year there was also a recording artist billboard chart that was released and i had tattooed each and everyone of the top ten recording artists! those two accomplishments seem to be a great highlight in my life! 2007 MOB INK TATTOOS was voted number one tattoo shop in south Florida!
